Replace internal cooling fan

  1. Some performance testing with temperature measurements
  2. While laptop is running, hold at different angles. Strange sounds could indicate a bad bearing / lack of lubrication.
  3. Feel air flow. Is there any / enough?

Possibly replace the fan.[1]

External cooling fan

Replace thermal paste

Either normal thermal paste or something more advanced like phase change materials (e.g. PTM7950).[2]

Liquid metal would be risky but also improve thermal conductivity quite a bit.[3]
